Meet the Founders

The Start

JollyScrub was created by twin-duo Fay and Phil. Since they were children Fay and Phil always worked together, from their first lemonade stand to big University projects. Their unique skill sets and creative abilities combined resulted in exceptional results. After completing higher education, and pursuing their own careers and endeavors, they’ve decided to team up to bring you their new company JollyScrub.

The Backstory

After giving birth to her second child, Fay experienced postpartum depression. Finding nuggets of joy anywhere was really important to her as she navigated her growing family and her work. Being a foodie and having dabbled with body scrub recipes in the past she believed combining the two worlds in concept could be a jolly experience for herself, other tired moms, and anyone else looking for that extra sparkle in their day-to-day life. Instead of eating ice cream to feel better she could have something that smelled and felt just as good, without the guilt. She enlisted her history of recipe creation along with her background in food chemistry, and several months of R&D later, a clean formulation free of harsh chemicals was created – IceCream Scrub.

In the meantime, Phil had been working with e-commerce stores to help them learn how to use data to maximize their revenue potential. It wasn’t until one day after attending a conference where he heard Daymond John give his testimony that he felt impressed to connect back with Fay to start what he always knew they would one day do. It was at this point that Fay shared her idea and plans for IceCream Scrub. He got very excited about it, and one conference call later, JollyScrub was born.
